36 1/2 weeks

So I am definitely convinced an epidural is the way to go! We had a sonogram done and found out that this little girl is already over 6 pounds and 6 ounces! That means if I go full term she will be well over 8 pounds. That's right we are having a big, Hawaiian baby girl. Everything looks good for now. She is in the right position and healthy. Hopefully she will decide to make a slightly early arrival, especially since Grandma is coming from Hawaii to see her.

35 and a half and counting

It is no surprise that I have baby on the brain. I am about to be a new mommy, something that I have wanted to be since I was three. Even though I have wanted to do this my entire life I still have some anxiety that is accompanying the overwhelming excitement I feel. After our birthing class this past weekend, I feel even more confused on how I want this labor to go. Epidural or no epidural? That seems to be the big question on my brain. I don't like the idea of excruciating pain but then again I don't like the idea of being tied to the bed and depending on others to move my legs. Any thoughts or suggestions????
